The CKI hosts a number of different seminars.

Keynote Seminars- this seminar series is an opportunity for staff, students and the wider community to see high profile people speak around themes related to civic engagement and education, service/community based learning, volunteering, social capital and active citizenship between November 2006 and June 2008.

Lunchtime Seminars - The lunchtime seminars are a range of Service Learning seminars, as well as seminars about community, civic engagement, volunteering and community/university partnerships.

Conversations with Community- these seminars arose from consultation with students, who wanted the opportunity to talk about the 'real issues' with community groups in Galway.  It is open to staff and students and provides a fantastic learning environment where everybody is growing together.
